Well known for their algae eating appetite, Rabbitfish are peaceful additions to reef or swim tanks. They are generally reef safe as long as they are well fed and have access to greens (whether it be algae growing in the tank or supplemented), but may pick at LPS or other soft corals if underfed. May be kept in pairs in a large tank but may be aggressive with more then two Rabbitfish per system. Take care in handling, as their spines are venomous. Great fish for handling nuisance algae including most aggressive species of macroalgae.
