Snowflake eels are among the favorite eels of reef hobbyists due to their generally peaceful nature. They may go after small fish or inverts; however this is usually due to underfeeding or unsuitable tank environments. They will not pick at coral but may knock over coral in attempts to get food or find a suitable living space. They may be kept in multiples as long as there is suitable room and food. Should be kept in a lidded tank as they can crawl out of most openings easily.
*Full grown adults (usually 3-5 years) will require larger tanks depending on rock/bottom space.
